SARAJEVO ’92-95: TERROR IN 12 PICTURES

Marking the thirtieth anniversary of the beginning of the siege of Sarajevo in April 1992, the SENSE Center for Transitional Justice published the interactive narrative Sarajevo ‘92 -’95: Terror in 12 Pictures. The narrative shows how the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) reconstructed a 44-month campaign of artillery and sniper terror against the BiH capital, aimed at keeping civilians in a state of permanent and extreme fear of death.

The narrative is based on witness statements, videos, photographs, and other documents admitted into evidence at ICTY trials.
